Stop Waiting for Permission
You may be waiting for someone to confirm that your next step is acceptable. Decide what is actually yours to choose, accept the responsibility, and move.

Sometimes you already know what you want to change, but you keep looking for someone to tell you it is reasonable. You want a manager, partner, parent, friend, or imagined audience to confirm that you are allowed to want something different.
Advice can be useful. Permission is different. If the decision is genuinely yours, waiting for approval can become a way to avoid the responsibility that comes with choosing.
